Higher education is an investment in your future. In its PISA studies, the OECD proves that graduates receive a dividend of 8 % on their expenditure in higher education. Apart from a higher average income, it also means a lower risk of unemployment. The state education system has also acknowledged the fact that high-quality education cannot be for free and that this will lead to serious changes in financing structures in the next few years.
Arguments put forward by the independent evaluation agency ZEvA in favour of a course of study at the Merz Akademie are impressive:
• a convincing and ambitious study concept
• excellent equipment
• good supervision
• highly motivated students, lecturers and staff
• very high standard of qualification
On the subject of tuition fees, the report claims: "Tuition fees will be kept to a minimum to enable as many students as possible to study at the Merz Akademie and to avoid excluding certain social groups. Students who work and study at the same time do not consider their everyday student life to be significantly impaired."
The monthly tuition fee is currently € 359.-. A registration fee of € 75.- is charged.
