Berlinale 2022 – Graduate Cem Kaya wins the Audience Award

Cem Kaya’s documentary “Aşk, Mark ve Ölüm” (Love, D-Mark and Death) wins the Audience Award of the Berlinale 2022. We are happy with our graduate! Congratulations, Cem!
The theme of Cem’s film is the music of Turkish immigrants and how it reflects the history of migration. Cem Kaya studied film and video at the Merz Akadmie and successfully graduated in 2005.

All Berlinale visitors can vote for the Panorama Audience Award in the Panorama section. The prize has been awarded since 1999 and is presented jointly by radioeins (rbb), rbb television and Panorama.
