eine Liste von 100 Filmen (und einem guten Dutzend TV-Serien), die Studierenden nicht nur filmhistorisches Wissen vermittelt, sondern vor allem Anregungen für die eigene filmische Arbeit geben soll. Im Gespräch mit Maren Schmohl, der Prorektorin der Merz Akademie, spricht er über Sinn und Unsinn von Kanon-Listen, warum “Citizen Kane” nicht auf seiner Liste steht und warum “Taxi Driver” womöglich bald gestrichen wird.
