Internationale Kontakte zu Promotion und Qualitätssicherung

Prof. Dr. David Quigley und die Leiterin des International Office, Birgit Haasen, reisten mit Beginn des Wintersemesters zum Kick-Off Meeting der neuen Strategischen Partnerschaft “Creator Doctus” an die Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art in Kopenhagen. Im Rahmen des von Erasmus+ geförderten Projekts werden Strategien zur Durchführung künstlerischer PhDs an Hochschulen, denen der dritte Zyklus bislang verschlossen war, erarbeitet und erprobt.

Besonderes Augenmerk liegt dabei auf der Ausbildung von Betreuer/innen solcher künstlerischen Promotionen. Projektpartner sind neben der Merz Akademie und der Royal Academy die Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam, die Glasgow School of Art, die Athens School of Fine Arts, die Ecole Nationale Superiore d’Arts de Paris Cergy, die Qualitätssicherungsagentur EQ-Arts sowie die Vilnius Academy of Arts.
