Scholarships and incoming students in the winter semester 2023/24

We are happy about the numerous scholarships!

International scholarships in winter semester 23/24 are awarded to students who spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities or complete their internship semester abroad:

Baden-Württemberg Stipendium:
With a Baden-Württemberg Stipendium, our student Merve Bozkurt traveled to South Korea to spend a semester at our partner university, Hongik University in Seoul.

Our incoming students Chaeyeon Kang from Hongik University and Trupti Agarwal from the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology in India are at Merz Akadmie in winter semester 23/24, also with a Baden-Württemberg scholarship.

ASEM-DUO- Korea Fellowship Program:
Our Bachelor’s student Cynthia Onde-Breuil and Bachelor’s student Dayoung Lee from our partner university, Honigk University, are receiving tandem funding. They are sponsored by the Korean scholarship program of the DAAD, the ASEM-DUO-Korea Fellowship Program.

Erasmus+
Master’s student Furkan Dönmezer spends another semester in Copenhagen, Denmark and receives Erasmus+ funding for his internship.

PROMOS
Our student Uliana Drashchenko is spending her internship semester in Montreal, Canada with funding from PROMOS, the DAAD program to increase the mobility of students at German universities. Our student Ceyda Meral is also able to spend her internship semester in Hong Kong with PROMOS funding.
