Screen Story von Klaas Schulte

On average, a Merz Akademie student spends five hours a day looking at screens. During the public lockdown, teaching also took place online. Students thus spent even more time at home in front of the screen. Crossmedia Publishing students asked themselves how these screen experiences affect their understanding of themselves, others, their lives, and the world. Under the direction of Prof. Kevin B. Lee, video works were created that made sense of these screen experiences to tell a story. They address overarching themes of sexism, death, communication, as well as very mundane issues and storylines. To do this, the students used a variety of technologies, apps, and platforms.
