Danja Vasiliev is a media artist, critical engineer who focuses intensively on computer technology, critically analyzing the internet, the use of personal data, and the complexity of networked systems. His works often deal with the creative misuse of technology, exposing vulnerabilities and questioning the mechanisms of control in digital systems. since October 2025 Vasiliev is a professor for Emerging Media at Merz Akademie.
