Water – a mirror of our world

Presentation of the results from the Merz Akademie students’ workshop week during the summer semester of 2026 at UNO ART SPACE on June 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Ute Noll led the workshop “Water – Mirror of Our World,” which focused on magazine production. The participating students explored water as a mirror of the world and used this concept to create an artistic boutique magazine.

Using their own and researched photographs, drawings, objects, and texts, they created multi-layered works. Originals, reproductions, and clippings were incorporated – cut, glued, and stapled. The process was supported by the Merz Akademie’s printing and screen-printing studio and bookbinding atelier.
