What is blurriness and what fascinates us about it? Why does blurring in photographs make us curious and what is hidden behind or in front of it?
How do we find the right way to use this blurriness and to awaken the intended curiosity in the audience?
First, we will briefly look at what we call photographic sharpness in order to use this understanding to discover the possibilities with which we can create and photograph blur. Through the practical application of these possibilities, each participant chooses his or her photographic genre and develops the idea for an image motif, which we discuss together and then realise photographically, in order to then optimise and edit the image selection on the computer.
At the end of the workshop, we will print the results on 40 x 50 cm photo paper in the Printlab and all participants can take their picture home with them.
