Die Absolvent*innen des Wintersemesters 2025/26 - herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Bachelor- und Master of Arts!

On February 6 and 7, 2026, the final exhibition and showcase of the 2025/26 winter semester took place. On February 6, we bid farewell to our graduates at the ceremonial awarding of Master’s and Bachelor of Arts degrees. Congratulations, dear graduates! The ceremonial presentation of certificates by Dean Prof. Maria Mohr and Chancellor Stefan Grünenwald took place at the graduation ceremony. Our Rector, Dr. Barbara M. Eggert, Prof. Maria Mohr, and our AStA addressed the graduates with words of welcome.

From 7 p.m. onwards, all interested parties were invited to view the graduates’ exhibition and the students’ showcase.

On Friday, February 6, two guided tours of the students’ showcase took place. Our professors Danja Vasiliev (Emerging Media), Prof. Olia Lialina (New Media), Prof. Anja Weber (Photography), Prof. Maria Mohr (Film and Video), Prof. Florian Bayer, and Prof. Joost Bottema (Visual Communication) presented semester projects and design courses.

On Saturday, February 7, there was a guided tour of the final projects. Graduates of the 2025/26 winter semester presented their final projects.

Room 1.3 hosted an exhibition of Prof. Florian Bayer's courses. Among other things, his semester project “OPEN DOORS. OPEN MINDS. A comic project of the city partnership between Stuttgart and Cardiff” was on display.

Graduate Sina Eyleen Kutz during the tour. She presented her work “Das Endobiest” (The Endobiest), an illustrative, multimedia awareness campaign about the chronic disease endometriosis.
Prof. Joost Bottema during the exhibition tour. With regard to vision, his semester project “Attention!” examined how vision develops. In collaboration with researchers from the Future Institute at the University of Konstanz, the students turned to insects and other animals to explore different types of vision.
