Congratulations on earning your Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the Arts, dear graduates!

Am Samstag, 18. Juli 2026 fand das Sommerfest 2026 statt. Der komplette Campus wurde zum Ausstellungsraum: Die Bachelor- und Masterabsolvent*innen präsentierten ihre Abschlussprojekte, Studierende aller Studienbereiche zeigten in einer umfangreicher Werkschau Filme, Fotografien, Bücher, Installationen, Animationen und Performances. Und natürlich fand auch die Verabschiedung mit Urkundenübergabe an die Absolvent*innen statt.

During the tour, Master’s graduate Shadi Ahmadi presented her Master’s thesis: “Presence” is a spatial installation based on the concept of horizontal chess and serves as a seating system designed to facilitate communication, participation, and shared experiences.
During the tour, graduate Jennifer Ruppert presented her bachelor's thesis, “There Is No Irregularity Here,” a graphic novel about the invisible mechanisms of authoritarian power.

During the tour, bachelor's graduate Jonas Eckert presented his project “Slopbelisk”—a 3D-printed sculpture made of “AI slobs.”
During the Werkschau tour, Prof. Joost Bottema presented workshop courses and design courses in the field of visual communication, as well as the semester project “Making it Visible,” a collaboration with the Zukunftskolleg at the University of Konstanz.
