Unsere New Media-Professorin Olia Lialina erhielt den Jury-Preis für ihr Projekt Self Portrait. Das Schweizer Kunstmagazin Kunstbulletin und das Haus der elektronischen Künste Basel vergeben seit 2016 den “net based – Preis für netzbasierte Kunst” mit einer Preissumme in Höhe von 10.000 CHF.

Der Preis wird international ausgeschrieben und die Einreichungen werden von einer international besetzten Jury begutachtet:
