Merz Akademie-Studierende des Pathways New Media präsentierten in Kooperation mit dem Studiengang Fotografie der design akademie berlin im Rahmen des Vorspiels / transmediale & CTM in ihrer Ausstellung “Spatial Allocation” Virtual-Reality-Projekte für Head-Mounted-Displays. Kuratoren der Ausstellung waren Jörg Frohnmayer, New Media-Dozent der Merz Akademie und Sebastian Denz, Professor für Fotografie an der design akademie berlin.

Ziel des Kooperationsprojekts war die Erforschung und Entwicklung neuer räumlicher Strategien für Ausstellungen mit 3-D-Inhalten.
