What do we actually remember and what is the difference between individual memory and that of a group, institution or nation? The paradigm of collective memory forms the theoretical framework to this project.
In the virtual memory space, the viewer explores different rooms that portray aspects of collective memory. Located between memory theory and the contents of hypothetical collective memories, the viewer is invited to experience the various rooms in virtual reality.
