“Latent Spaces” deals with organic type generation that is meant to make latent, random processes visible. The goal of the experiment is to show with organically generated type that AI is perhaps not quite the ultimate in the design world after all. The main component of the project is the blob, or slime mold, which still amazes scientists with its intelligence.
