RAW&MESSY

The truth is reasonable for humans (Ingeborg Bachmann)

The RAW & MESSY photo project focuses on the contradictions, gaps, and fractures that define our world. We live in a present that is dominated by perfectionism and smooth surfaces, yet at the same time has been thrown off balance by multiple crises, polarization, and unpredictable futures. Confronting chaos and fragility can be paralyzing, and “messiness” can be understood as flawed—or it can unleash creative forces. Those who face the disorder and realities of the world, break rules, and tear open surfaces can use this productively as resistance and artistic space for possibility.
