Auria Harvey makes an exciting journey through different media, professions, places. Being educated as a sculpurer, she became an influential web designer and net artist, left the web in the beginning of millennium to become a game maker, together with Michael Samyn as Tale of Tales studio they revolutionarised indie game scene. Some years ago, being disappointed in game mechanics Auriea turned to virtual worlds and back to sculpture. But whatever medium or form she choose, she builds a world.
l always imagine the life of the world, who is in it, what are they doing there, what they eat for breakfast, how their mother raised them. And even if you don’t see them, I show how they lived. You are witness to them.
