In the Design Colloquium „Narrative in Hypermedia and Algorithmic Environments“ the students examined concepts of non-linearity, interactivity and automation (AI) in production of moving images. Is interactive movie a game or a film? Can AI make jokes? How many screens can a viewer control simultaneously? How far an author can delegate to the audience and algorithms? And what’s the role of an author in scenarios that aim for infinity in time and space?
