The Wunderkammer is an exhibition concept that developed in Europe since the late 15th century. It is considered one of the ancestors of today’s museums, in it different objects and artifacts from all over the world were gathered into collections and exhibited. Again and again, this concept also became the subject of artistic contemplation and debate. Students dealt with collection and exhibition concepts in digital 3D spaces. The goal was to conceive and design virtual worlds in which collections of various digitally(ised) objects and media are assembled on self-selected themes and presented with the help of virtual reality (VR).
