The Revolution Will Not Be Televised. Black Lives Matter, Activism and Social Media
Lecture by Micheala Sharp (Organizer/Designer, Minneapolis, MN)

Designer and Organizer Micheala Sharp shares her first-hand experience with the Black Lives Matter protests in Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed by the police and sparked the now-global movement to end institutional racism. She will discuss how social media channels like Snapchat and Twitter have been used to coordinate the protests, and how she uses visual design principles to create effective messages on Instagram.

The lecture takes place online via Microsoft Teams Live.

You can download the poster as a PDF file to print it yourself – we would be happy if you would support the association Initiative Schwarze Menschen e.V. with a small donation!
